John Sweet, director of JA & JA Sweet PTY LTD completed the Carpentry and Joinery Trade Course in the Credit Grade in 1987, at Gymea TAFE. John then completed his Building Supervision in the Credit Grade in 1990. Upon completion of his apprenticeship, John quickly established his own business as a sole trader, John A. Sweet – Builder.
A desire to expand his business led to the establishment of JA & JA Sweet PTY LTD in 2003.
With quality workmanship and personalised service being of the utmost importance, John ensures each project is personally supervised from start to completion. Clients deal directly with John at all times, thereby eliminating any confusion that may arise through the introduction of individual site supervisors or foremen.
John strives to minimise any stress that may arise for clients by overseeing necessary paperwork including applications for Home Owner’s Warranty, co-ordination of Council inspections, organising completion certificates and the like. John has built a reputation of excellence in both workmanship and work ethic. He is highly respected by colleagues and clients alike.
JA & JA Sweet is highly supportive of Government traineeships and John prides himself on training high quality apprentices who are equally as motivated and passionate about the Building Industry. John was aptly recognised at the Southern Sydney Region Training Awards in 2004, when he received a certificate of excellence for his dedication to the training of the region’s Apprentice of The Year’.
John has been a continuous member of the Housing Industry Association Limited since 1998. The Housing Industry Association provide ongoing training, support and help us keep informed of current issues impacting the Building Industry.
